Taken in

I met the Rubin-Crumps in Sharon, VT. I was looking for a motel but the numbers I called were disconnected so I went to the town hall building to inquire. Miriam came up to me straight away and offered up her house, said her kids would love to have me. Her family belongs to Servas and was happy to host me. She cooked a huge casserole of homemade gnoochi for dinner and a giant egg popover for breakie. It was amazing and I was so grateful. I gotta get that recipe for the egg popover cooked in a cask iron skillet. When you come to visit me in Houghton, I'll make it for you.
