Training on the pass

On day three I climbed my first pass -- The Kanc for short. It was rainy all day but beautiful. I felt happy climbing in the rain--that's how I know it's a good idea for me to be on this trip. The views were spectacular. I ended in North Woodstock where I ate dinner at this pretty Inn and camped in the private campground. The folks there said I was the first cyclist to come through this season. That night I checked out the bar where two guys with 5 guitars where doing their sound checks. I stayed until close and nursed a Oban 14. Nice day.
